Apple's Global Business Solutions (GBS) team partners with key Apple business leaders, including Retail, Sales, Operations, R&D and Services, to perform data mining and analysis. In addition to supporting transactional and financial reporting processes, GBS provides a strategic platform to uncover trends and insights to enhance financial controls and compliance, operational efficiency and business performance.

Description
We look for individuals with strong technical capabilities and the right balance of problem solving and strategic thinking to help drive automation and process innovation in our finance operations. You will work closely with key business partners to optimize finance operations, focusing on automating reporting, analytics, and process improvements.

As a Finance Intern in GBS R2R (Record to Report), you will help to develop efficient, compliant processes and automation solutions for Apple's business needs. You'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to ongoing automation projects, gaining exposure to real-world business processes and enterprise-grade technologies. This is a dynamic role with plenty of room for growth and evolving job responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
Educational background in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant majors.

Available to join internship for at least 6 months full-time (December - May).

Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL).

Good understanding of data manipulation and transformation techniques.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and collaborate.

Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) core finance processes with the courage to challenge the status-quo, identify automation opportunities and drive implementation of innovative solutions.

Curiosity to "go beyond the coding" and convert datasets into business insights that influence meaningful actions and results on a regional and global scale, including process improvements and business solutions.

Mature, responsible and ambitious professional who demonstrates integrity by driving excellence in automation solutions, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and taking responsibility for continuous process optimization.

A proactive mindset and interest in improving business efficiency through technology.
