About the Role

We are looking for a highly strategic and hands-on Finance General Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple international markets outside of China. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping regional finance strategy, performance management, and compliance for over 1,500 employees in non-China regions, aligning with the company's global objectives.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin Chinese, possess a strong understanding of fast-paced corporate cultures, and be willing to relocate to Shanghai to work closely with global headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full finance function across Southeast Asia, Middle East, and other assigned international regions.
  • Drive regional financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management (FP&A).
  • Monitor and manage regional P&L to achieve profitability and growth targets.
  • Oversee financial reporting, governance, and compliance with international accounting standards.
  • Provide actionable insights and business partnering support to regional business leaders.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations in Chinese for global management.
  • Build, coach, and scale a finance team from 30 members currently to 100+ as the organization grows.
  • Support regional expansion initiatives, especially in Indonesia and Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written); must be able to prepare reports in Chinese.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of senior finance leadership experience in multinational or fast-growing regional organizations.
  • Proven track record managing cross-border finance operations across Southeast Asia or the Middle East.
  • Experience leading large finance teams and implementing robust financial frameworks.
  • Strong FP&A, business partnering, and strategic finance skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
  • Willingness to relocate to Shanghai.
