  • Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Ÿ   Conducts ongoing development of inventory strategies to determine cost-effective use of inventory investment while maximizing inventory turns and meeting service level targets.
  • Ÿ   Develops short- and long-term supply plans to balance the demand forecast with cost, efficiency and capacity constraints. Optimizes the flow of product through the supply chain.
  • Ÿ   Develops buy plan and maintains tactical procurement activities.
  • Ÿ   Ensures suppliers' payment will be filed and executed according to the accounting payment process
  • Support to resolve payment issue.
  • Ÿ   Establishes and maintains supportive relationships with stores, suppliers and team partners to ensure effective communication of strategic and tactical issues.
  • Ÿ   Executes and approves stores orders and cascades planning information to stores
  • Ÿ   Proactively works with stores to improve inventory turns and the right availability of inventory. 
  • Ÿ   Prepares and validates age reports, out-of-stock reports, key performance measurement reports and other analysis to facilitate cost and service improvements. Support manager on the improvement initiative.
  • Ÿ   Participates as a planning representative in cross-functional project teams. Lead system / process development and enhancement if appropriate.
  • Ÿ   Work with the category team to develop the supply plan for the LTO products and make sure LTO products in the stores timely. Track the LTO product sell through rate.

  • Summary of Experience   
  • Ÿ  Relevant experience in inventory planning and forecasting, preferable in retail environment, a consumer products or related environment years
  • Ÿ  Working knowledge of planning systems or MRP systems  3-4 years
  • Ÿ  Performance metrics development and root cause analysis  2 years
  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   
  • Ÿ  Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and written     
  • Ÿ  Ability work independently and as part of a team   
  • Ÿ  Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills     
  • Ÿ  Ability to work effectively with International customers  
  • Ÿ  Ability to influence others and build consensus among team members
  • Ÿ  Ability to use planning systems to develop strategic and tactical solutions
