  • Be responsible for the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in acco rdance with both China GAAP and group reporting requirements.
  • Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, including bank statements, inter-company accounts, and other key accounts.
  • Manage the fixed asset register and oversee depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all local Chinese financial, tax, and statutory regulations.
  • Support the annual statutory audit and internal audit processes.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze working capital, focusing on DSO, DPO.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.   Qualifications and Experience Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS) and tax regulations. Familiarity with IFRS or US GAAP is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills & proficiency in SAP is highly preferred.
  • Strong fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional context (both written and verbal). Preferred:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA, CICPA) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC).
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience. Personal Attributes
