We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to oversee HR operations across the APAC region, streamline processes, and drive compliance with local regulations. This role will act as a key connector between APAC, the US, and EMEA, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development to a geographically distributed HR Operations team while focusing on high-performance and collaboration
- Build regional roadmaps for the operations function, including payroll, benefits and Workday enhancements that roll up into global HR Operations objectives
- Manage end-to-end HR processes, including payroll, onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, payroll administration, benefits, employee queries, and data management. Provide back up on day to day operational coverage regionally as needed
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies across APAC locations
- Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes, enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency
- Support global mobility processes for inbound and outbound transfers within APAC including short-term & long-term assignments and direct transfers
- Partner with global teams on HR system (particularly Workday), testing, integrations, and global process alignment
- Collaborate with regional counterparts to drive cross-regional HR initiatives and policy harmonization
Skills You'll Need:
- 8+ years of HR operations experience, including leadership roles
- Expertise in Workday are required with an emphasis on utilizing HR technology to automate processes
- Knowledge of APAC employment laws
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Fluency in Mandarin required
- Ability to travel to regional and global offices as needed
