What is the job about?

  • Drive product engineering and maintenance activities
  • Contribute to innovative, fast and effective response mechanism to product maintenance and modification in relation to variants, quality and cost reduction

Your main responsibilities:

Product maintenance and variant creation

  • Drive and Participate in the technical performance of engineering projects
  • Use new technologies, research know-how, and technology platforms in relation to engineering and maintenance activities
  • Use standardized and measurable development methods in engineering activities
  • Work to achieve the specified requirements in the engineering process
  • Product cost analyses
  • Contact relevant stakeholders in relation to engineering activities
  • Ensure that quality, functionality and production costs meet the specified requirements.
  • Assist/act as project manager on smaller engineering projects
  • Accomplish design- and Construction tasks

Test

  • Observe demands and perform tests in compliance with relevant norms and product approval standards
  • Plan and conduct tests and laboratory tasks
  • Work out test descriptions, test result analysis, handle specification and follow-up on tests for clarification of technical problems

Documentation

  • Prepare documentation in compliance with the product producing process
  • Ensure documentation of the technical development in design journals
  • Assist on product approvals

What do you need to apply? 

We expect you have:

  • Engineer degree Master or Bachelor or similar education
  • Technical knowledge with product development
  • 5-10 years relevant experience
  • Proficient English – verbal and written
  • Understanding manufacturing process and technology is a plus
