Job Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and consolidation activities for assigned legal entities and/or business units.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A inputs, and other disclosures in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
  • Maintain and test SOX/internal control environment for owned processes; prepare control documentation and remediation plans as needed.
  • Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and reclassifications; investigate and resolve reconciling items.
  • Interpret accounting standards and lead technical accounting research; prepare memos and present conclusions to leadership.
  • Drive process improvements and automation; partner with IT and FP&A to improve data flows and controls.
  • Liaise with tax, treasury, legal, and business-unit finance to ensure consistent accounting treatment across the global footprint.
  • Support ad-hoc projects such as carve-ins/carve-outs, acquisitions, and system implementations from an accounting and reporting perspective.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Reporting Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a background in corporate accounting, public-company reporting, or Big Four audit.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of US GAAP and CAS.
  • Hands-on experience with monthly/quarterly close, consolidations, and intercompany accounting in large, multi-entity organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Sarbanes-Oxley controls and audit coordination.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation and disclosure tools preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
