Senior Manager- Decarbonization

• Responsibilities

  1. Project Implementation & Management
  • Lead end-to-end projects in corporate decarbonization strategy, roadmap design, carbon asset management, and carbon footprint accounting;
  • Conduct GHG inventories, reduction potential assessments, modeling, and performance evaluation;
  • Implement projects related to climate risk assessment and disclosure (ISSB, CDP, CSRD, etc.);
  • Manage project scope, quality, and budget to ensure excellence in delivery;
  • Maintain strong client relationships and identify business opportunities.

  2. Policy & Standards Research
  • Track decarbonization and climate policies, carbon market mechanisms, and industry standards;
  • Monitor global policy trends including EU CBAM, CSRD, and supply chain sustainability regulations;
  • Support policy research and standard development for governments, associations, and key enterprises.

  2. Team Leadership & Business Development
  • Coach team members in project execution and technical research;
  • Contribute to market development and client management, promoting business growth and brand reputation.

• 1. Education:
  • Master's degree or above in Environmental Science, Energy Management, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields.

  2. Experience:
  • Over 10 years of experience in decarbonization, energy transition, carbon markets, or carbon footprint management;
  • Proven experience in project design and implementation on decarbonization pathways, climate risk assessment, and carbon accounting;
  • Proficient in GHG accounting standards, and familiar with climate disclosure requirements in capital market;
  • Knowledge of international frameworks such as SBTi, ISSB, and CDP, and awareness of major international policy trends and trade regulations related to climate and sustainability;
  • Experience in developing national or international standards/methodologies, or holding a senior professional title is preferred.

  • Excellent bilingual (Chinese & English) communication and report writing skills.
