Commodity Buyer

Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities

● Purchasing and negotiating with national- and international suppliers for the Asian Spending

● Development and Execution of procurement strategies, aligning with Leader Global Commodity and

other internal stakeholders

● Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and new technologies, conducting market research,

and analyzing suppliers

● Independent management and conducting VA/VE workshops as well as cost structure analyses with

suppliers

● Conducting contract and terms negotiation as well as developing strategic supplier relationships

● Responsible for achieving the purchasing targets of the commodity

● Supporting global sourcing projects

● Professional support and complete related operational purchasing activities

● Maintaining purchasing data in SAP and handling workflows

Job Specifications

● Bachelor degree or above with majored in International Business or Supply Chain/Procurement

● Minimum 5 year's working experience and among 3+ years' with sourcing, experience on electronic

will be a plus

● Proactive and take ownership

● Understanding of analytic cost calculation

● Service oriented, attentions to detail and accuracy in procurement documentation

● Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and proactive working attitude

● Integrity, trust

● Fluency in both Chinese and English

● German is an advantage
