Key Responsibilities / Duties & Responsibilities

● Purchasing and negotiating of national- and international parts and components

● Developing new products as per the assigned projects and implementing procurement strategies,

aligning with overall project goals and company objectives

● Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, market research and analyzing supplier capabilities

● Involving supplier at early stage from product concept to industrialization, source materials and

components that meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements for new products.

● Keeping close cooperation with strategic and commodity procurement, aligning with key

stakeholders for specifications and project timelines

● Implementing RFQ and cost analysis, tooling kick off, PPAP etc. product development progress on

the procurement delivery timelines

● Monitoring project progress, updating project status on regular basis including low light and high,

inputs for the gate stage meetings, identifying potential risks and issues, implementing mitigation

strategies and escalating issues appropriately

● Initiatives to lead procurement activities in core cross-functional project teams, support new

product development phase and gate process

● Utilizing influence and negotiation skills to lead, deliverables of on cost, time and quality to achieve

project goals within project timeline

● Integrating best practices into the NPD procurement process, continuous evaluation and

improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in supporting new product development

Job Specifications

● Bachelor degree or above with majored in International Business or Supply Chain/Procurement

● Minimum 10+ years' experience with sourcing and new product development, supply chain and

project management

● Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective

relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

● Analytical and experience in driving strategies and problem solving abilities

● Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

● Service oriented, attentions to detail and accuracy in procurement documentation

● Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and proactive working attitude;

● Work with patience and independence;

● Integrity, trust;

● Fluency in both Chinese and English;
