We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate, Finance VS.

Principal responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Assist in developing strategic financial plans and provide insights to ensure budget compliance.
• Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Maintenance of resource and financial trackers.
• Ensure financial elements of clarity reporting is on track.
• Monitor and report on financial metrics within CCM, identifying risks and opportunities and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Support delivery leads and maintain excellent relationships with them to ensure delivery goals are met. 
• Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Processing of monthly finance reporting into the finance management tool and GPDM systems.
• Preparation of the CAM data and management of related queries.

Requirements

• Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills - ability to communicate effectively and with confidence across the Group, at all levels.
• Strong credit and lending experience to appropriately understand requests / actions received and lead discussions with stakeholders.
• Experience of absorbing/understanding new information and becoming an SME in that area to enhance value add in the role.
• Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced technical proficiency in excel and experience in analysing and interpreting data. 
• Detail focused and highly organised.
• Be flexible and adaptable to constantly changing priorities and to tasks that are unpredictable, complex and time sensitive; requires the simultaneous handling of a broad range of issues.
• Ability to negotiate and influence across networks of matrixed stakeholders.
• Ability to understand, digest, interpret, and convey complex information rapidly and accurately, including on initially unfamiliar topics and situations.
• Understanding of competitive dynamics, best practices, and market trends in the financial services industry; understanding of external geopolitical and economic factors.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, in an environment of changing execution priorities.
• Ability to prioritise, to drive outcomes with pace, whilst setting and managing expectations; decisiveness when faced with competing demands.
• Commitment to unfailingly high standards; always seeking opportunities for further improvement.
• A practical 'hands-on' approach suited to working in a small team, reporting directly to senior management.  

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
