Brompton Technology has seen strong growth across Asia Pacific, with a rapidly expanding presence in the Chinese-speaking market. As part of our strategic commitment to the region, we are looking to strengthen our sales operations across Asia Pacific, focusing on Mainland China and Hong Kong, with an emphasis on accelerating growth in LED video for the Live Events, Broadcast, Virtual Production, and fixed installation sectors.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Key Account Manager based in Shenzhen to manage the vital relationships with our panel manufacturer partners, understanding their needs and objectives and ensuring delivery on mutually agreed targets.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of previous experience of LED panel manufacturers, and understand the practicalities of manufacturing operations, key account management and procurement processes. You will join an existing team, reporting to the Director of APAC Operations, that manages our relationships with the panel manufacturers, bringing your superior commercial skills and relevant experience.
You will be the primary commercial point of contact for our panel manufacturers, developing and strengthening the relationships, and ensuring their satisfaction with (and loyalty to) Brompton as a key supplier. You will drive the information flow between Brompton and the accounts you are managing, keeping all relevant teams aware of and working towards agreed goals for the account and ensuring their needs are well understood by other teams in Brompton. You will also be responsible for achieving agreed sales objectives with the account and will work closely with Brompton's Director of APAC Operations and Director of Sales to develop and implement strategic account plans on how to achieve product development targets, sales targets, revenue growth and profitability objectives for the designated accounts.
As our key partnerships commonly are multi-facetted, with a technical partnership cooperation as well as a sales channel relation, we believe that the successful candidate will have a mix of commercial and technical experience, with very strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
This role will be based within our Shenzhen office with regular visits to customers in China. Occasional trips to our UK headquarters and international trade events will also be required. A valid passport, and a willingness to travel are essential.
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required. Proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary sales contact for the Panel manufacturers in the Greater China region (Mainland China and Hong Kong).
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms with key accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with designated accounts at all levels of their business
- Serve as the link and primary point of contact between the key account and Brompton, establishing contacts between different work groups as needed.
- Conduct regular meetings and communications with key accounts to review performance, address concerns, identify opportunities for collaboration and expansion, and positively influence product development and strategy.
- Work closely with the wider sales and business development team to identify and pursue market opportunities, with a focus on working with the panel manufacturer to ensure any issues are swiftly identified and resolved so that we are working to win the business together.
- Deliver on growth plans and sales targets for panel manufacturers
- Support existing customers to maximise satisfaction and uncover upsell opportunities.
- Represent Brompton Technology at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape future product development.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share across target verticals.
- Align internal teams such as sales, marketing, product management, panel integration, technical support etc, ensuring that all are aware of and working towards the set goals for the account.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on key account performance and sales forecasts
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, transactions, and communications with key accounts in Salesforce and other relevant databases.
- Resolve issues and conflicts with key accounts in a timely and effective manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Essential Qualifications
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering customer value.
- A proven track record in B2B sales within LED video or related technology sectors.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing complex sales cycles and key accounts in a highly technical field.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
- Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and account management techniques.
- Good understanding of the LED video market.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Greater China and overseas.
- Comfortable using CRM and standard business software (Microsoft Office, MacOS or Windows).
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-regional team.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to develop and execute account plans.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Desirable Extras - Educational background or relevant experience in business administration, sales or related field.
- Familiarity with Brompton Tessera or similar LED processing systems.
- Experience working with LED display manufacturers.
- Proficiency in Cantonese or other regional dialects.
- A full, clean, Driving License with International Driving Permit
- Experience using a Salesforce
