The Role
This person will be responsible for Singapore platform Export customer service operation, managing and controlling export transportation in order to reach group supply chain target and satisfactory logistics service for MI customers.
What You Will Do
- Take responsibility for following major tasks and projects for customer service department.
- Singapore Export order processing
- Organize Export Singapore Transportation, control freight cost and optimize transportation route based on cost simulation and SLA
- Claims management
- Customer satisfaction, etc
- Coordinate with Business group and other platform contacts to ensure smooth order deliveries and return flows.
- Manage the process effectively on export customs clearance and licenses preparation for export cargoes. Establish and improve efficiency of export processes and procedures with compliance to relevant laws and regulations.
- Work with logistics route team to drive forwarders performance to secure and export transportation lead time.
- Drive Customer service team KPIs/metrics to meet target and initiative continuous improvement activities.
- Support internal and external audit related to Trade/Customs compliance.
- Provide professional export solutions for other departments on the transportation and export request.
- Maintain and filing necessary records, files and reports.
- Driving training and improvement on customer service and logistics relevant skills and efficiency. Continuously initiate and lead the lean project on the process
- Secure the team to follow company's rules, guidelines, code and conduct, and relative compliance requirements. Support internal and external audit related to trade compliance.
- Maintain and filing necessary records, files and reports. Complete other assignment by managers. Proposes any identified improvement in or beyond the activity scope.
What You Need To Have
- Education/Training Required:
College degree or above, major in business administration, international trade or logistics, etc
- Work Experience Required:
7+ years working experience on relevant customer service or logistics operation & distribution, 3+ years experiences on team management.
Key Competencies
- Good reading, written and spoken English skill.
- Good experience on export business, international forwarding and customer service.
- Related ERP system knowledge and experience.
- Customer oriented, self-driven, teamwork and leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Good communication / influencing skills with different internal/external contactor.
