Cooling Function Management

This position assumes the role of a SET-Speaker and represents the system and component scope managed by EAF (Thermal management & cooling) within the SET M3W. The activities span the entire development period with a particular emphasis on cost, schedule, and quality considerations for China region including JVs 

- M3W set (cooling system) speaker for VCTC EAF  relevant key topics, like project status review, component release status review, open issues escalation and report,

Steering of work packages and deadlines according to the associated PEP within the SET for timely processing and tracking of agreed targets for the China region including  the join ventures. 
-   cooling system  components  release status (P/B/BMG/K) tracking and reporting; ensure each component release fulfills the project milestone

- Coordinating and validating schedules and escalating any delays in deadlines
- Representing VCTC-EAF all other relevant committees.
- Delegate EAF to participate  and report in relevant meetings, like project steering meetings, management regular meetings etc.

- Interface with WOB on jobsplit, release status reporting for each project,  platform aeko implementation status etc.
- Interface with each JV (joint venture) on EAF relevant topics, like jobsplit negotiation, AWS negotiation,  PAB cost collection 

 Coordinating and tracking relevant PEP milestones, including planning for release milestones (P, B, BMG and K-Release or K-Release recommendation), and escalating deviations as necessary (target/actual comparison).
- Tasks dispatch from higher level groups 

- Organizing, conducting, and leading cross-departmental SET meetings.
- Independently managing conflicts of interest within the SET involving relevant areas (e.g., production issues).

-  Change management speaker for  all JVs in China region, includes change scope clarification,  approval process tracking, organize meetings to clarify etc.

- Cooperation with internal and external partners for the activities above  

Qualification and skills required for the position

Bachelor's degree or above, major in mechatronics, power and energy engineering, mechanical engineering , automotive engineering or other related fields.

- 3+ years of experience in project management or product development within the automotive industry.  
- Familiar with automotive development process, familiar with VW process is a plus

- Deep understand automotive development processes and procedures;
- Deep understand risk management and experience on automotive program management;
- Understand automotive components, familiar with cooling system product and components is a plus;
- Good communication skills and willing to exchange actively, with team spirit;
- Familiar with reporting skills and MS; 
- Familiar with agile working methods and Jira-System;
- Fluent English communication skills and German language is preferred
