Key Tasks:

  • Responsible for competitor analysis and industry research on thermal management system incl. sub-components (water-cooling boards, cooling water tubes, heat-conducting adhesive, temperature sensors, heating film, etc.).
  • Responsible for the development of design requirements and LAH related to the battery thermal management system(including  test requirements and  testing etc.)
  • Responsible for thermal management strategy development and optimisation.
  • Functional responsibility for cooling & heating ,  track the realization of the functions. 
  • Responsible to review  the  design of thermal management system , including 3D data and drawings.
  • Participant into Summer&Winter test for thermal management function validation and optimize the calibration. 
  • Responsible to review  thermal/fluid  simulation validation of ZSB HVB system  and thermal management system sub-components
  • Interface to vehicle thermal management system and synergy 
  • Statements on BMG & K-release of the HV battery and  possibly other relevant components (ex. PTC) 
  • Responsible for tracking and reviewing thermal management system and sub-component regulations

Qualification and skills required for the position:

  • Min Bachelor degree in thermal or automotive engineering
  • Minimum 3 years working experience of  in HV-battery  thermal management fields, , working experience in companies of VW group is preferred.
  • Familiar with the thermal management requirements of HV battery , the heating characteristics of the battery cells, able to carry out simulation calculations of the heat generated by the battery cells, battery cooling, skilled in the use of CATIA/Auto CAD/Fluent  and other software; familiar with the technical requirements of the parts in the battery packs, understanding of the processing technology of metal and non-metallic materials, material properties and the relevant requirements of the corresponding standards.
    Fluent English speaking & communication skills .
