工作职责
This position belongs to the Insights and Advisory business unit. We are looking to hire a Consultant who would work as lead analyst in research/consulting projects of varying complexities for our clients (ranging from simple data-collection intensive to data-analysis/insights-intensive projects) focusing on a variety of industries.

1. Initial Problem Structuring & Proposal Development:
(1) Evaluating client's requirements and developing a clear understanding
(2) As per the requirements, structuring the project (scope, research methodology, planned output – analysis/insights, project pricing, etc.
(3) Preparing proposals to be presented to the client

2. Project Planning & Setup:
(1) Understanding client requirements with no/marginal support from manager
(2) Detailed scoping of work & issue analysis for execution
(3) Preparing detailed project plans for clients and internal use (GANTT Chart)
(4) Participating-in/driving team briefing and task allocation

3. Project Execution:
(1) Individual contribution:
(i) Understanding clients requirements with no/marginal support from manager
(ii) Developing knowledge of research topic
(iii) Detailed scoping of work & issue analysis for execution
(iv) Data collection-conducting extensive primary/secondary research
(v) Data collation and analysis
(vi) Data presentation
(vii) Attention to detail
(2) Participating-in and driving brainstorming sessions for problem structuring, issue analysis & decision tree analysis, hypothesis building & validation, development of insights and recommendations (throughout the project)
(3) Ensuring project team's contribution (managing entry-level analysts):
(i) Guiding team members (what to do and how to do different tasks)
(ii) Monitoring the work done by the team members
(iii) Ensuring top quality delivery by the project team
(4) Participating in client communication (including both telephone and face-to-face discussions) throughout project lifecycle.

4. Undertaking Administrative Tasks
(1) Project initiation/closure
(2) Invoicing

任职要求
1. Language skills (verbal and written): Excellent English and Chinese
2. Degree (bachelors and/or masters degree or equivalent)
3. At least 4-6 years of experience in market/business research and/or consulting roles; should have experience in working on a variety of assignments (market entry/expansion studies; in-depth industry reports; supply chain studies; etc.)
4. Experience in the area of problem structuring, conducting issue/decision tree analysis, developing/validating hypotheses will be a plus
5. Knowledge of different cultures and ability to work in an international environment
6. Should be ready to work in a demanding and intellectually stimulating environment
7. Excellent time management skills
8. Positive attitude and solution orientation – people who only identify problems need not apply, we look for people who not only identify problems but also offer solution
