This role will report to Head of Legal Affair-AMN and will be responsible for legal counsel and contracting with regard to Danone China's adult medical nutrition business. This position will deal with marketing, sales, promotion, manufacturing, supply and quality issues in relation to medical nutrition drugs and devices as well as aFSMP and general food.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as a dedicated subject matter expert in legal issues, oversee business activities including manufacturing, sales and promotion, procurement, distribution, quality, supply chain, sponsorship/grant/donation programs, research and innovation, etc.;
  • Provide proactive, practical and solution-oriented legal advice, identify and mitigate various risks;
  • Advise on business innovations including models of HCP and patient engagements, digital health projects;
  • Review promotion materials for drugs, aFSMPs and general food and be able to defend legal positions;
  • Contribute to regulation advocacy activities.

Requirements

  • Bar qualification in China;
  • minimum of 5 years of legal practice experience, at least experiences with a reputable law firm or a multinational pharmaceutical/device company;
  • Experience in aFSMP or general food is a plus;
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Chinese;
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and resolving complex legal issues quickly and effectively;
  • Strategic thinking, strong business acumen;
  • Multi-tasking and be able to prioritize tasks;
  • Quick learner and a team player.
