POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The job of the Product Engineer is established for maintaining legacy standard products with stable quality in the local service business. Role includes new product development, i2v (Innovation to Value), localization products and legacy product maintenance and quality issue trouble shooting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  2. For i2v (Innovation to value) projects, worked as PMO and Lead Engineer to complete i2v projects according to overall productivity plan
  3. Generate productivity ideas to drive legacy product cost down continuously
  4. For NPD or localization projects, worked closed with PMO, PM, Marketing, Ops, Service to achieve the project QDC(Quality,Delivery,Cost)
  5. Product design, include layouts, 3D models, sketches and detail drawings according to MRD and project schedule.
  6. Work with manufacturing plant to make sure on-time-delivery
  7. Provide support to operation, sourcing, quality teams for product quality improvement;
  8. Provide pre-sale and post-sale technical support to commercial team and technical support team
  9. Process optimize to eliminate defects and improve efficiency

Qualifications:


  2. At least 5 years working experience or above on new product development in Rotary Compressor Product Industry
  3. Bachelor degree or above. The major could be in thermal energy and power engineering, compressor, mechanical.
  4. Good at theory knowledge and plentiful experience in mechanical design and manufacture. Include casting, machining, forging, sheet metal, welding, and so on.
  5. Fluent English level in writing, reading. Productive oral conversation
  6. Can well operate Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawing design
  7. Good data management and analytical skills, and troubleshooting skill
  8. Good teamwork and communication skills.

Knowledge in the use of Windchill is a plus.
