POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The B&V NPD Engineer position is a key role in Engineering Department to participate or lead engineering activities in Blower and Vacuum New Product Development. Good engineering knowledge, trouble shooting abilities and communication skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be developing new products to achieve MRD requirements and QDC targets, to make continuous contribution to business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  2. Participate or lead engineering activities in New Product Development projects through IRPDP Process, work closely with Project Manager and cross-functional teams to meet MRD requirements and QDC targets

    2. Product Concept Design
    3. Engineering Builds
    4. Design Validation
    5. Prepare for New Product Launch
  3. Generate innovation ideas to drive product improvement and business growth
  4. Participate or lead new technology research to foresee new options/extensions/opportunities for Blower & Vacuum systems and products
  5. Optimize process to eliminate defects, improve quality and efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:


  2. At least 5 years working experience or above on new product development in Blower and Vacuum industrial products
  3. Bachelor degree or above. The major could be in mechanical, fluid or compressor.
  4. Good at theory knowledge and plentiful experience in mechanical design and manufacture. Include casting, machining, forging, sheet metal, welding, and etc.
  5. Have the design and maintain Blower and Vacuum Airend a plus
  6. Can well operate Pro-E for drawing design
  7. Modeling and Simulation abilities (FEA, CFD, Rotor Dynamics and etc.) a plus
  8. Good data management and analytical skills
  9. Good team work and communication skills
  10. Fluent English level in writing, reading. Productive oral conversation
  11. Knowledge of Lean tools, DFMEA and Six Sigma tools a plus

  2. In Leadership Competency:  need higher in "innovations"
  3. In Functional Competency:  need higher in "design and development" and "engineering analysis"
