More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a (Project Procurement Engineer) in (Shanghai ) with Signify.

Skills & experience requirements:

  • Leads change
  • Drives Operational Excellence
  • Desired experience: advanced knowledge of
    DFX conventions, Cost modelling, Value Engineering, TCO management in I2M
  • Problem solving techniques (5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree etc).
  • Impactful Communications
  • High energy levels

Key Areas of responsibilities:

  • Manage NPDL project to fulfill business targe
  • Drives supplier & part selection in I2M tog with CT
  • Identifies opportunities in new design process through early supplier involvement
  • Manages cross-functional team projects in DFX convention and VE programs
  • Initiates and executes cost optimization initiatives both in new product introduction projects as well as in the existing portfolio
  • Supports the negotiation teams with conceptual and fact-based information and opportunities to drive significant structural cost reduction improvement
