We are expanding our reach and deepening engagement across the region — and are seeking a creative, driven, and organized Marketing Senior Associate/Manager to help us achieve this vision.

POSITION SUMMARY 

This role plays a pivotal part in advancing ULI's visibility and engagement across China and the broader Asia Pacific region. Working closely with local council teams and the regional marketing and communications function, you will plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen member engagement, promote high-impact programs, and enhance the ULI brand.

This position blends strategic marketing and hands-on delivery — ideal for a professional who is equally comfortable developing creative content and managing event logistics or digital platforms.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (REQUIRED):

Marketing & Communications

  • Campaign Development: Plan and execute marketing campaigns for local and regional events, initiatives, and programs.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling bilingual (English and Mandarin) content for email, website, and social media channels.
  • Social Media Management: Maintain active and engaging presence on WeChat, LinkedIn, and other platforms; monitor analytics to optimize performance.
  • Design & Branding: Produce or coordinate visual content, including graphics, invitations, signage, and promotional materials, aligned with ULI brand guidelines.
  • Trend Insights: Track social media and digital marketing trends, suggesting innovations to enhance ULI's visibility and engagement.
  • Website Management: Maintain and regularly update local council and regional webpages with relevant news, events, and stories.

Event & Program Marketing

  • Develop integrated marketing plans for events, webinars, and initiatives to drive attendance and awareness.
  • Design event-related presentation materials, slides, and multimedia content.
  • Capture and curate event highlights (photos, videos, testimonials) for post-event marketing and reporting.

Operational & Administrative Support

  • Coordinate event setup in ULI's CRM and registration systems, ensuring accuracy of customer and financial data.
  • Support invoicing, payment follow-ups, and basic troubleshooting related to event systems.
  • Prepare regular marketing reports and dashboards to track engagement and ROI.
  • Manage vendor relationships for design, printing, and other marketing services.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Local Council staff and the Asia Pacific regional marketing team to ensure consistent branding and aligned messaging.
  • Provide responsive member and customer service support for marketing-related inquiries.
  • Assist with internal communications and reporting to regional leadership.

 SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proven experience in marketing and communications, preferably within professional associations, real estate, or related industries.
  • Excellent English and Mandarin writing skills; Cantonese is an advantage.
  • Strong grasp of digital and social media marketing, including analytics tools and content management platforms.
  • Creative eye for design and visual storytelling; proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or Photoshop is an advantage.
  • Exceptional organization and project management abilities; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to support early morning or evening events as required.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in marketing, communications, events, or related functions.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related field.
  • Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, or event management platforms preferred.
  • Occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region may be required.
