岗位描述/Department Mission

  • The Embedded SW & HW Platform empowers CARIAD CN (a Volkswagen Company) Software & Hardware products for CEA in China. The overall goals are the successful function integration of hard- & software developments in China, boosting of China-specific requirements in automotive E/E-architecture concepts and yielding of new enabler technologies for future mobility for China.

主要职责/Your Responsibilities: 

  • Lead project robust topics.
  • Define robust design requirements and robust validation requirements for ECUs.
  • Perform hardware design review and robust design review.
  • Build process of hardware design review and robust design review.
  • Do Failure Mechanism Analysis and robust evaluation.
  • Define MTBF and calculation model, optimize lifetime prediction model.
  • Reliability failure analysis together with Tier1 supplier or internal R&D department.
  • Gathering failure cases to maintain the Lessons Learnt database, update Robust design specification.
  • Work with JVs robust engineer together to develop a local robust standards.
  • Audit robust test labs in 3rd party or Tier1 suppliers.

岗位要求/Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree or above in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic engineering or other relevant major.
  • At least 8 years' hardware design (schematics design) experience in the Automotive industry.
  • Familiar with automotive industry standards (design standards and test standards).
  • Master of methodology of robust design, master of the tools and methods for robust design.
  • Could generate company robust design specification, test specification, and validation specification.
  • Familiar with Automotive Reliability requirements, like ISO-16750, VW80000, ISO7637, VW80808, JEDEC, AEC-Q…
  • Skills in Circuit analysis, PCB Layout review, ECU design review.
  • Have experience of using at least 1 EDA tool (Cadence, Mentor Graphic, Altium Designer…)
  • Excellent initiative, engagement and personal responsibility
  • Target oriented and well structure
  • Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
  • Prefer: have knowledge about ISO17025
