Team: Expansion, Canada Market Position: (Senior) Manager, Advertising, Expansion

Responsibilities:
• Engage advertisers to develop annual planning for advertising, follow up and support daily operation to ensure on-track implementation.


• Work closely with account management team and advertisers to sync up key business plans and promotion plans in order to support above initiative.


• Acquire best practices and insights for advertising in the eComm industry to help grow both revenue streams and advertiser's brand and product awareness for the right audiences.


• Manage a high volume of advertiser accounts, ensuring all advertiser needs are met, maintaining strong advertiser relationships, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.


• Utilize your expertise in relationship-building to provide valuable advice to advertisers and develop strategic retail media plans. This includes identifying advertiser needs, proposing solutions that align with their goals, and fostering strong advertiser relationships.


• Consistently achieve and strive to surpass advertising KPI's. Contribute to the team's overall goals by identifying sales opportunities, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.


• Play a key role in defining best practices and processes to enhance efficiency. Display strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through ambiguity to move the business forward.
• Be willing to travel for advertiser meetings as needed. Collaborate with cross functional teams at various Walmart offices, demonstrating strong team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in different settings.
• Conduct comprehensive research to gain a thorough understanding of the marketplace's competitive landscape, trends, and business models. This entails close collaboration with Senior Managers and cross-functional teams

Requirements
:


• 5-10 years of relevant experience in the e-commerce and/or related industries with 1-2 years advertising experience.


• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.


• Experienced in developing media strategies based on data, insights, and analytics.
• Strong experience in Amazon Sponsored Ads, Google Ads, Bing, Yahoo, Co-op Advertising and related paid search terminology
• Strong analytic and quantitative skills that enable you to use data to develop, validate and measure search campaigns.
• Experience developing or overseeing quantitative analysis and delivering actionable insights.
• Ambitious, self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for excellence and delivery of results.
• Has ability to work at all levels with an eye for detail to achieve quality & process goals, actively translates Walmart's core values into everyday practices.
• Effective communication/interpersonal skills and able to build relationships and influence cross-functionally.
• Understanding customer experience, listening to customers' voices, and working backwards to improve business process and operations.
• Fluent in English and local language.
