Job Summary / Job Purpose

SG China, head quarter based in Beijing, has 40 years present in China market. Its IT department, consist of 3 sub-teams GTS, FTB IT and REG IT, is responsible for all local IT infrastructure/application maintenance and evolution to support different business lines in China including Cash Management, Trade Finance etcWe are looking for a talent to join the FTB IT team in Beijing office. The candidate will mainly work with development team cross region (mainly HK and India) for our transaction banking and cash management related applications.

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

Act as a key developer within a multi locations IT teamAble to work with the team towards excellent coding and architecture practicesAble to challenge organization and how we work to continuously improve team and its efficiencyFully autonomous for delivering value end to end (understanding the business needs, developments, tests, operations, support)Develop working code using software craftsmanship best practices such as domain driven development, continuous integration and deployment, legacy refactoring Participate to testing, deployment and production activities of the team to ensure production stabilityCreate or improve micro services exposing restful APIs within the information systems, deploy them to productionChallenge requirements and advise on good solutionsSupport what we build (and sometimes what others have built)Support our platform and users on their daily requests and ensure on-duty jobs whenever requestedCollaborate with other team members regardless of location (India, Hong Kong, China), and regardless of whether they are internal or external to Societe Generale (vendor consultant).Communicate and report to business and IT peers and senior stakeholdersSome microservices in Java to provide additional services or support processes not supported by the main software. If those microservices are exposing APIs, they will likely be coded using Spring Boot
