About The Job
The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the stewarding team to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in all kitchen and dishwashing areas. This role supports kitchen operations by managing cleaning schedules, organizing steward duties, and ensuring proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils.

As a Steward Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Supervise stewarding team to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules and SOPs are followed strictly.
• Monitor the proper operation of dishwashing machines and cleaning equipment.
• Check cleanliness and storage of kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery, and utensils.
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly according to hotel or outlet standards.
• Manage stewarding staff rosters, attendance, and daily assignments.
• Conduct training for stewards on hygiene, safety, and cleaning procedures.
• Coordinate with kitchen and F&B teams for timely support during service periods.
• Monitor usage of cleaning supplies and submit requisitions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to HACCP and other food safety standards.
• Report any maintenance issues related to stewarding areas and equipment.

As Steward Supervisor, We Expect From You

• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, hygiene practices, and kitchen equipment care.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in stewarding, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
