Your Key Responsibilities

Globe Position Name:Mechanical Eng.

  • Development of mechanical or electromechanical concepts within Power Electronics, driven by functional, material, economic, and production technologies related targets.
  • Design of high-voltage inverter architectrue concept and components according to requirements, include but not limited to die casting part, sheetmetal part, plastic part, harness, PCB bare board, sealing, EMC filter, etc.
  • Support with the requirements assessment and installation space analysis, also in direct communication with customers.
  • ME concept definition considering customer requirements, platform modules and standardized functional elements.
  • Configuration and coordination of interface functions with customers and other disciplines.
  • Definition of the production technologies and manufacturing flow in cooperation with operations.
  • Control and verification of design configuration (tolerance calculation, thermal, CFD and structural simulations, insulation coordination).
  • Coordination of entire mechanical product documentation (drawings, specifications, bill of materials, etc).
  • Support in the technical evaluation of change management.
  • Support of design- and product validation until release of final assembly.
  • Execution of technical change process, preparation of time schedules and clarifying with external and internal partners.
  • Technical discussions with suppliers and customers.
  • Defining necessary development accompanying tests.
  • Collaboration in FMEA process.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable/relevant field of study.
  • Good CAD knowledge with Creo and PDM system WISE (Windchill).
  • Knowledge of mechnical design & interconnection technologies & manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge of the FMEA methodology is prefferred.
  • Knowledge of the ME development process in automotive area is prefferred.
  • Good written and spoken English knowledge.
  • High quality and problem-solving orientation.
  • High level of initiative, dedication and passion.
  • Very good team and communication skills.
  • Intercultural Competence.
