Senior Accountant
role in finance team. This role will work with finance reporting manager on financial reporting, tax and other finance projects implementation.

This
6 month Contract
position is based in Beijing and reports to Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager.

Your Role
As a Financial Accounting Contractor, you will play a supporting role in the General Accounting and Reporting team, contributing to various accounting and reporting activities. This position is ideal for professionals seeking short-term engagement with exposure to both local and international financial reporting standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Support quarterly and annual financial closing processes, including reconciliation between business and financial data.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the preparation of C-ROSS reports (quarterly and annual).
  • Prepare data for regular tax calculations and filings, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT). Stamp Duty (SD), and Withholding Tax.
  • Support the preparation of PBC documentation for statutory annual audits.
  • Assist in updating the annual report based on audited financial statements
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments to support the Finance function as needed.

Your Profile:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a solid foundation in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience with SAP or background in a Big Four accounting firm is preferred.
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the financial sector, preferably in accounting or reporting roles.
  • Ability to learn quickly and respond effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented with the capacity to stay focused and precise during prolonged data processing sessions.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
