Job Title: Lead Interior Designer

Department: Interior Design

Location: Shanghai, China

What you will do:


• Serve as the lead creative force on interior design programs, from advanced concept to production, delivering emotionally engaging and functionally innovative design solutions.


• Translate project vision and brand strategy into refined interior concepts with strong storytelling and a future-forward mindset.


• Develop and communicate design ideas through high-quality sketches, renderings, and 3D models using both traditional and digital tools.


• Take full ownership of interior design proposals across all development stages, ensuring strong execution, timing adherence, and design integrity.


• Collaborate closely with modeling, UX/UI, CMF, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to integrate user experience, functional requirements, and design feasibility.


• Conduct trend and innovation research to propose fresh interior geometries, material applications, and user experience concepts.

What you will bring:


• Extensive experience in automotive interior design, including successful delivery of at least one production program.


• Deep knowledge of the vehicle development process and expertise in interior packaging, ergonomics, and integration with interior engineering.


• Exceptional 2D and 3D visualization skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Photoshop, Alias, Blender, VRED, etc.).


• Strong sense of proportion, spatial flow, surfacing, and human-centered design.


• Proven ability to create emotionally resonant and culturally relevant design solutions.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in cross-functional settings.


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
