Job Summary
The Senior Sourcing Analyst, Sourced Finished Goods – Commercial will be responsible for providing support to strategic procurement activities, including spend analysis, detailed savings analysis, RFI/P/Q development and execution, macro-economic industry analysis, among other things. The Senior Sourcing Analyst will create / maintain significant amounts of information gathering, data consolidation, and data cleansing activities related to the Sourced Finished Good categories of our Commercial business. He/She will assist the Senior Sourcing Manager and support category teams with managing all aspects of Sourced Finished Goods supplier relationships that impact product cost, quality and product delivery.

Job Duties

  • Participative and integral member in new product development teams serving as category sourcing support for NPD initiatives
  • Supplier and commodity spend management, analysis, and productivity tracking
  • Partner with internal teams to use sourcing tools to evaluate costs, competitively bid, and negotiate spend.
  • Create, manage, and support RFI/P/Q and market events execution including post-activity reporting and analysis to meet YOY productivity goal
  • Navigate seamlessly throughout the organization during data gathering and analysis activities, fostering relationships with partners throughout the business to support data requirements
  • Develop a deep level of understanding of the data under analysis, focusing on ensuring the right balance of accuracy and completeness with timely delivery of required information.
  • Research, and evaluate new potential suppliers and technology innovation in support of the Home Fragrance Business

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, science, mathematics, or related field required
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant sourcing and/or supply chain working experience in Multinational CPG. Preferably in Sourcing of Sourced Finished Goods in Consumer or Commercial industry. Experience with sourcing execution of Injection mold, Metal Products, packaging, or other key commodities is a plus.
  • Capable of successfully managing and completing multiple tasks concurrently with cross functional teams and suppliers
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates basic business financial knowledge
  • Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI)
  • Demonstrates ability to manage constructive and cooperative working relationships, often without introduction
  • Experience leveraging analytical ability to drive and influence business decisions
  • Relevant ERP experience; preferably in Oracle
  • Ariba experience is a plus
