This position is a functional leader for the SHE community in the region across various sites and cultures for primarily TTH Ingredients and HNC Premix site in China, in order to deliver a next sustainable improvement step in SHE performance. The scope of the sites covered may be changed or revised depending on the business or regional organization changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent region (Regional SHE Team) & integrate SHE into business; support SHE topics
• Develop SHE standards with Global SHE; lead implementation & regional health initiatives
• Build SHE leadership; participate in SHE talent hiring; take extra roles if needed
• Monitor site SHE performance (leading/lagging); advise management & conduct peer audits
• Pursue regional SHE synergy; initiate cross-site learning; support incident investigations
• Monitor SHE regulation changes; share compliance practices; advise on investment projects

You bring

• At least 10 years of operational experience in a (bio)chemical manufacturing environment, preferably with line management experience.
• Knowledge about Occupational & Process Safety, Product Safety, Health and Environmental topics within the dsm-firmenich context.
• A thorough understanding of dsm-firmenich's SHE requirements and standards.
• Possess detailed know-how about manufacturing and SHE aspects.
• International experience in multidisciplinary teams.
• Leadership experience (to develop people and teams, strengthen the organization), experience in dealing with authorities, and experience in change management and driving continuous improvement.
