We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of CONTENT DESIGNER COPYWRITER.

Business: HK Digital

Principal responsibilities

• Create, write, and design clear, concise, and user-centric content in English and/or Chinese for HSBC Hong Kong's digital products, including the mobile banking app and online banking.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers to co-create the user experience, considering content structure, hierarchy, layout, navigation, accessibility, etc.
• Develop UX copy that guides user through our digital products, ensuring clarity, consistency, and a seamless user experience.
• Actively participate throughout the design process, from initial concept, prototyping, and iteration to final implementation, to deliver best-in-class user experiences.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with business and tech stakeholders to align content with business goals and technical requirements.
• Support user research initiatives to understand user needs and behaviors and incorporate findings into content strategy and design.
• Ensure all content accurately represents the brand and adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and style.
• Manage and curate content to ensure it is up-to-date, relevant, and consistent across all digital platforms.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Translation, Journalism or other related disciplines.
• Proven experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and/or Chinese, with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with UX design principles and collaboration with UX teams.
• Profound understanding of best practices and trends regarding digital, banking, finance, and investment products.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
• Candidates who are proficient in both English and Chinese will be prioritized.
