What You'll Do
Position Overview:
We are seeking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Specialist to support the Greater China Career Services and Alumni Relations function. This role will provide operational, administrative, and project-based support to ensure seamless career transition support for alumni and outgoing BCGers, and to strengthen engagement with our broader alumni community.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys multi-tasking, stakeholder coordination, and working behind the scenes to bring meaningful people programs to life – while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and a dynamic alumni network across Greater China offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Services
- Track and maintain career opportunities
- Manage career-related conversations, place opportunities based on request
- Maintain clear documentation for individuals receiving career support
- Prepare summaries and updates for regular Career Services meetings
- Liaise with external recruiters and contacts for referrals and introductions
Work with PA leadership on strategic priorities and placements
Database & Information Management
- Maintain and update records for career services and alumni engagement
- Keep documentation and digital folders organized and accessible
- Develop local digital tools as needed
Alumni Relations
- Maintain accurate alumni contact list and ensure records are up to date
- Conduct graduation conversations and manage exit survey process
- Run analysis as needed and report insights to leadership team
- Act as the main point of contact for alumni, providing support on events, career service offerings and other queries
- Coordinate with other functions on alumni eventsPlan and organize flagship alumni engagement activities, and involve PA leadership when needed
- Identify other opportunities to improve the alumni experience and support their implementation
- Assist in alumni related content generation, including regular updates, newsletters, social media postings, etc
What You'll Bring
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Clear, concise communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable to interact with senior members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional maturity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Comfortable working with digital tools, shared drives, and spreadsheets
Preferred Experience:
- 4~6 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition/headhunting, HR coordination, alumni relations, or career services
- Experience in a professional services environment preferred
- Familiarity with career processes or external recruiter engagement is a plus
