Procurement Compliance Manager

Position Overview:
This role serves as the central governance point for all procurement activities, independent from purchasing, sourcing, and operational procurement functions. The incumbent will design and maintain a robust procurement governance framework that aligns with internal corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and global procurement standards. They will be responsible for drafting and managing procurement-related policies, procedures, and contractual documents for both direct and indirect procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Policy Development
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive procurement governance framework covering both direct and indirect spend.
- Draft and update procurement policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines aligned with internal governance and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO
- Define approval workflows, delegation of authority, and risk management protocols.
Contract & Documentation Management
- Create and standardize Long-Term Agreement (LTA) templates, supplier contracts, and service agreements for both direct and indirect procurement.
- Draft standard terms and conditions, supplier code of conduct, and compliance clauses.
- Collaborate with Legal to ensure enforceability and mitigate contractual risks.
- Establish and maintain a central contract repository with version control.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements (anti-bribery, trade compliance, data privacy).
- Conduct periodic audits and implement corrective actions.
- Develop compliance metrics and reporting dashboards for senior management.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training
- Act as the single point of contact for procurement governance across the organization.
- Provide training and guidance to procurement teams and stakeholders on policies and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with Legal, Finance, and Audit teams to ensure alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years in procurement governance, compliance, or contract management roles.
- Strong knowledge of procurement standards, contract law, and risk management.
- Experience in manufacturing industry and familiarity with both direct and indirect procurement categories.
- Excellent drafting skills for policies, contracts, and governance documents.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
