该职位来源于猎聘 Responsibilities: This position is an opportunity for someone interested in working for a fast paced and global science-focused biopharma. The BD Director will get involved in all activities related to BD&L, including opportunity assessments, prioritization, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and contract negotiations.
- Support out-licensing activity including identifying / qualifying / engaging potential partners, coordinating with internal functions for data preparation and presentation etc.
- Support in-licensing process including searching and evaluating potential assets, engaging partners, working with internal functional teams to build up the business case, and assisting negotiation.
- Lead the structuring and negotiation of term sheets and contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Work with cross-functional team to support assessment of opportunities, including due diligence across all functional areas of the organization.
- Provide project management support through the deal lifecycle from opportunity identification to transaction close.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive assessments in partnership with discovery, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, commercial, IP, legal and finance to develop business case on in-licensing opportunities to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Apply deep understanding of therapeutic areas (oncology preferred) and industry trends to identify high value opportunities
- Present analyses and recommendations to internal team members and senior management Qualifications:
- Strong scientific background with proven working experience in R&D. Ph.
D. or MD or an equivalent degree in medical or life sciences, and oncology/immunology is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in pharma/biotech, consulting or investment firm with a record of accomplishment, preferably with experience in oncology.
- Familiarity with innovative drug development process and oncology diseases area.
- Strong analytical background, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and attention to detail coupled with a solid understanding of oncology, biology, or pharmacology preferred.
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to produce high-quality presentations.
- Demonstrated sharp learning curve in emerging and diversified biotechnology industry.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and diversified working environment.
