Purpose and Objectives

The Intelligent Spend and Business Network organization brings together the power of SAP’s intelligent spend management solutions, including SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, and SAP Fieldglass – each a best-in-class category leader on its own – and the SAP Business Network, the world’s largest business network.

What you’ll do

  • Work with engineers across the company to ship modular and integrated products.
  • You own your code from ideation to development through to quality assurance and support.
  • Work together with other engineers and product management to deliver new and improve existing features.
  • Assess new technology, tool, and infrastructure with which to evolve existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud.
  • Modeling, design, implementation and test based on SAP’s programming model and processes.

What you bring

  • A sound knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles.
  • Experience with computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis.
  • Experience in building RESTful microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Analytic service development to support the machine learning scenarios
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL and a track record of producing high quality and testable code.
  • Fluency both written and spoken in English,
