We are looking for a History Teacher for an International School based in Beijing Chaoyang district. This is a full-time position starting from the August, 2024 academic year.

International school based in Beijing’s Chaoyang area and one of the leading providers of K12 education in Asia with Early years, Primary school, Middle school and High school divisions. The school offers A Level and GCSE programmes to meet their students’ educational needs and providing a pathway to top universities.

 

Job details

  • Teach the school’s history courses to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE and A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above
  • Degree in Education, QTS/PGCE or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ related experience
  • Excellent English communication skills
