Global Private Banking (GPB)

HSBC Global Private Banking provides personal relationship management including integrated banking, investment and wealth advisory services to high net worth clients and their families around the world. The business builds on the strength, heritage and prudent long-term strategy of the HSBC Group to search out and reveal new opportunities for our clients to manage and protect their wealth. As an international private bank, HSBC Global Private Banking has the connections to provide the very best of what the HSBC Group has to offer.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

1.Establish new private banking relationships and manage existing relationships in order to grow Assets Under Management and Revenue

2.Monitor clients' portfolios on a regular basis to identify additional business opportunities and revenue growth potential

3.Work closely with other HSBC departments, including Wealth and Personal Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets, to identify cross-selling opportunities and bring all of HSBC's relevant products and services to our clients

4.Leverage HSBC's channels, network and brand to pursue business development activities with a focus on International Private Wealth clients

5.Ensure strict compliance with HSBC's internal control standards, including areas of risk, regulatory compliance and financial crime compliance

6.Timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

7.Minimize operational losses

8.I hereby promise, that I'll abide by the laws and regulations related to insurance agency sales, and will not solicit any insurance policy holder to surrender his/her policies, which might harm the interest of the policy holder, upon my leaving the company or upon the termination of the agency business of the bank with relevant insurance companies.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

1.At least 10 years' relationship management experience, ideally in private banking, commercial banking or investment banking sectors

2.Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation

3.Excellent communication and negotiation skills

4.Strong focus on client servicing

5.Excellent understanding of financial markets and wealth management products

6.Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
