Your focus
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company’s mid to long-term goals.
This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and internal capabilities to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
How You Will Contribute
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the formulation and implementation of strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and objectives.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, threats, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the senior management team.
• Business Development: Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and new market entries.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with departments such as marketing, sales, operations, and finance to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of initiatives.
• Performance Tracking: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate strategic recommendations and insights to senior leadership and other key stakeholders, securing necessary approvals and support.
• Project Management: Manage the planning and execution of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards. Innovation and Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
• MBA or demonstrable business skills with academic major in Food Science, Nutrition science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field, with 5+ years food industry experience in marketing/product management/sales/business development.
• Ability to collect information, analyze data and make decisions under uncertain conditions.
• Ability of managing intellectual property and integrating them into the business strategy.
• Excellent communication skill with cross-team project experience. Excellent presentation skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Proven project management skills, with experience in leading and delivering complex projects successfully.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels of the organization.
• Experience of leading changes or playing champions on new initiatives is a plus.
• Fluent in Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
