Specific Responsibilities Would Include
The Senior Director is responsible for leading all sourcing and merchandising activities for the Premium Platform - Joe Hudson/Favorite Daughter (JHFD) product line. This role oversees the entire sourcing lifecycle, from identifying new suppliers to managing day-to-day supplier relationships and operations. The Senior Director ensures the timely delivery of high-quality JHFD products at the right price, while also developing the capabilities of the sourcing team through effective leadership, KPI management, SOP development, and team performance management.
With a focus on customer engagement, the Senior Director works with the JHFD Los Angeles and New York design teams to understand evolving design trends and requirements, as well as to secure the right quality, vendors, and prices, optimizing the supply chain to meet evolving customer needs and drive business growth for the premium JHFD brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Asia Sourcing Hub Management:
Provide leadership and direction for the JHFD sourcing hub, overseeing all activities related to design, development, production, and pricing Manage the JHFD sourcing operations and collaboration between country-specific teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient Asia-wide sourcing strategyLeadership and Operations Management:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the sourcing and procurement teams supporting the Premium Platform - JHFD product line Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and consistency in JHFD sourcing operations Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, lead times, and quality to identify areas for improvement Build and lead the sourcing team through effective talent management, training, and professional developmentSupplier Management:
Identify and qualify new suppliers to expand the JHFD product supply base Manage a responsive and reliable supplier network to meet JHFD customer requirements Evaluate supplier performance and facilitate continuous improvement Coordinate with cross-functional teams (., quality, technical) to ensure satisfactory execution of JHFD purchase ordersBusiness Development:
Partner with JHFD sales teams to understand customer needs and requirements Develop sourcing strategies to support JHFD business growth and achieve volume, cost, and speed-to-market targets Cultivate strong relationships with key JHFD suppliers to drive innovation, responsiveness, and competitive advantage Guide the team in JHFD supplier development, seasonal capacity planning, and order management

Additional Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field At least 15 years of proven experience in merchandising Proven experience with premium brands background Passion for women's fashion and a good sense of style Commercial mentality with consumer insights. Capable of translating current trends into a marketable collection with a modern style Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team Proven track record of driving team results and achieving goals Thrives in fast-paced, changing environments and proactively navigates challenges Creative mindset with an eye for product presentation and visual aesthetics Up-to-date on the latest merchandising trends and best practices Strong negotiation, vendor management, and collaboration abilities Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe productsCompetency Requirements ((if applicable))
