We are looking for an English ESL Teacher for an International High School in Tianjin. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August.

The school offers a diverse curriculum, including English, math, sciences, arts, sports, electives, and AP courses, following standards from the U.S., Ontario, and Beijing Foreign Studies University. To enhance cultural confidence, it includes Chinese language and history courses, organizes cultural trips, and offers overseas study tours and exchanges, encouraging community service to foster civic responsibility.

 

Job details

  • Teach the subject of English (ESL) to high school students ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Approx. 22 teaching periods per week

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in English or related
  • Registered teaching credentials, TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL are preferred
  • More than two years teaching experience are preferred
  • Eligible to apply for the English teacher’s visa
