Communication Strategy & Planning

Internal & External Communication

Public Relationship & Government Affair

Establish positive relationship with key levels of government, public services, trade organizations and authorities in Shanghai, Suzhou and other regions, to advance the organization’s business interest, including but not limited to company branding, market access or other business activities; support tesa branding promotion by leveraging the government resourcesRegular communication with various government or non-government agencies (e.g. German Consulate and German Business Community), monitor, analyze and interpret government policies on how these development might impact on organization’s business development\Implement public relation programs/activities to protect and enhance the organization’s reputation, respond to major enquiries from government, media or other interested partiesLead the team to conduct the activities and events to maintain good relationship with external stakeholders and governmentsWork with the stakeholders to search and realize business opportunities and governmental subsidiesLead the crisis management efforts to minimize impact on the organization.

Team Leadership and Management

As the team leader to establish, develop and manage the team to achieve the annual goal & objectivesSet-up the annual KPIs to the team and engage all of the team members to work for the results to achieve the good performance at the end of the yearDevelop teams by offering coaching and mentoring, motivate team members to keep passion to the workIdentify, attract, acquisite and develop the internal and external talents, generate and implement the talent development planCooperate with the key stakeholders to set-up and implement the career roadmap of the team/sub-function, develop the succession plan for key positions based on the coach and guidanceLead the team culture evolvement, develop the team culture based on the tesa People Value

What you will need

Education Background

Bachelor degree and above, major in Marketing or Communication will be a plusAdditional Master of Business Administration Degree (MBA) will be preferred

Skills/Capabilities/Working Experience Requirement

Min 10 years working experience in marketing or communication relevantAt least 5 years team management experienceExcellent speech and structured presentation skills, capability to communicate, cooperate and influence across departments and regionsExcellent skills in event and activity organization and managementGood leadership skill to manage, coach and develop subordinatesExcellent problem-solving skills, can lead the team to identify a variety of complex problems and present clearly, analyze the root reason with good analytical skills and business acumen, and can coach team members to solve the difficult and complex problemsHighly self-motivating, open minded and diligent attitude

Languages, Certificates and Skills

Excellent English communication skill in written and oral, good sense for cross-culture communicationGood project management skills, PMP certification will be a plus

Other Requirements 

Business travel is needed, should be flexible to travel occasionally
