Huntsman’s Polyurethane division is now looking for a Lab Technician. This Lab Technician is

To fulfill all lab day-to-day operations.

This role is located in Caojing.

As the Lab Technician, you will:

Implement the Environment, Health, Safety (“EHS”) regulations and the analytical plan to meet the Company’s objectives. Take full responsibility for the testing of incoming materials, in-process products and finished products on day and night shift. Work closely with the plant shifts to ensure the representative sampling and accurate testing of the sample. Report non-conformances timely. Assist QC Supervisor for new method build-up and method improvement. Assist in testing work on trouble shooting and improvement actions. Assist QC Day Technician for chemical, instrument, supplies and sample management. Follow QMS rules in regular work (ISO9001 & IATF16949).

Skills and experiences required:

Professional school graduated or above, majored in chemical analysis or related. 3 or more years’ laboratory work experience in a chemical manufacturing company. Experience in operating GC, GPC and Automatic Titrator is a must. Familiar with NIR, AAS, FT-IR, GC-MS etc. is preferred. Basis computer operation skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Basic knowledge of English in reading is preferred. High sense of responsibility and accuracy. Teamwork spirits.
