The Role

MISSION

In order to further accelerate profitable growth, we are looking for a Product Manager for Air Treatment AC brand China & SEA and Brand Portfolio China. This position will be based in Pan-Asia, Wuxi, China.

Your mission will be:

Develop new business opportunities with CCs (AC Brand: China & SEA, Brand Portfolio: China)Develop business plans for required products aligned with global air treatment strategyFollow up developments with local engineering and production organizationLead preparation of marketing material with AC and BP standardsPrice setting for succesful implementation of new productsLaunch new products and train local sales organisationsSupport local organisations in business development

This Product Manager will report to the VP Marketing Brand Portfolio and VP Marketing AC brand, and administratively to the General Manager of the Pan-Asia Product Company.

This position is an ideal step to develop your international career within the group.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As Product Manager for Air Treatment China & SEA, you will

Further accelerate market share growth and profitable revenue growth for AC brand China & SEA and Brand Porfolio China, with increasing customer satisfaction.Be responsible for the product development strategy and roadmap for AC brand and Brand Portfolio.Ensure that Master Spec for those projects are available and ensure all focus is given to ensure "OTIF" delivery with highest reliability.Lead product development projects throughout the product life cycle, starting from project feasibility, master specification, marketing promotion, until quality feedback, and customer satisfaction.Actively develop an innovation pipeline for both cost and product leadership for each product segmentResponsible for all marketing intelligence in the region, including competitor testing.Creating training materials for customer centers to ensure our products can be sold OTIF from the start of series production, maximizing our value proposition and streetfighter benefits.Manage professional product launches via teleconference, webinar, or events to ensure Product Values are conveyed OTIF to the marketplace.Generate a pricing strategy following the standards used in the Group. Actively perform price management, to provide a comprehensive pricing structure for each of our brand and product positioning, in respect of our fundamental brand & offer value positioning.Team up with product managers in the customer centers and division (both equipment and CTS) to provide state of the art product support and business strategy development supports.Make up-to-date marketing information available for existing product lines, showpad,… Focus on delivery of high quality marketing materials.Ensure products are promoted though innovative business support, tools or application to attract both direct and indirect sales channels with innovative supports, and increase loyalty of existing partners and customers.You will be responsible for business follow up and support of assigned countriesEmpower communication activities to be the driver in product launches and brand management. You work closely together with the communication team in the Division and in the Customer Centers.Take lead for the local product marketing team development for air treatment.

Regular traveling in China & SEA will be required.

What we expect of you? 

Experience requirements

The successful local candidate should preferably have an engineering degree with 5 years of relevant experience in sales and (product) marketing management.
Good command of English is required. Additional languages are a plus.

Good product technical knowledge and project management skills are mandatory.

Personality requirements

The successful candidate has the right strategic as well as entrepreneurial spirit and perseverance to develop and implement the product strategy for AC brand (China & SEA) and Brand Portfolio China.He/she is a team player, strong in communication and people oriented.He/she is an excellent project manager that can you inspire other people by acting as a role model and radiating the company’s vision and values.He/she is customer oriented and has the ability to establish good relationships and networks with people inside and outside the organization, throughout the various organizational levels and of different cultures.He/she shows a drive for result which means to put in the effort, the willingness and the ambition to achieve results and reach objectives and accept accountability. He/she has a creative mindset and a positive critical attitude towards other ideas.
