Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Purpose of Position
Drive high quality and efficiency of communications event and projects. Streamline communications project management process and deliver execution. Facilitate strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Deliverables
Leverage available resources and expertise to ensure strong delivery of communication projects. Optimize communication project SOP to facilitate high quality and efficiency of project execution. Collaborate with global and regional team members on multiple events and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional, cross-site teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Act as PMO to manage timeline, budget, resource, etc. Owner of marcomm demos.Responsibilities
Build and implement communication project management strategy to enable streamlined process. Manage communication events and projects, including but not limited to tradeshows, customer events, industry activities, CSR events, internal meetings, etc. Manage timeline, budget, and resources for all responsible events and projects. Collaborate with team members on project execution. Drive creative ideas on demo creation and display for tradeshow and events. Support application labs on demo upgrade.Core Competencies
Outstanding project management skills. Strong ownership to handle complexity and drive works done. Collaborative work style and organizational savvy. Multi-tasking ability, knowing how to prioritize. Fast leaner and creative mindset.Required Education & Experience
Bachelor or above degree in communications, marketing, event management, or other related field. Over 5 years’ experience in marketing or communications role. Solid experience in project management and related communication area. Experience in multinational company and event agency is a plus. Experience in B2B marketing and CSR projects is a plus.Position Requirements
