VP, Counterparty Credit Risk

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate credit risk of various counterparty’s, including but not limited to, Financial Institutions, Funds and Corporate clients, etcPrepare and participate in the due diligence of potential counterpartyLead and perform regular counterparty credit risk reporting & consolidation on firm level, participate in collateral management and margin call process, as well as credit system implementationPerform credit rating assessment and approve for client's application for respective credit limitsGood knowledge and understanding of OTC derivative products, variation margin, potential future exposurePropose and approve key credit terms, and participate in negotiating documentation terms (ISDA/CSA, Repo, GSMLA)Provide input to counterparty credit policy and procedures and revise where necessaryFamiliar withrelevant Basel/HKSFC/HKMA regulatory rules

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Risk management, Financial Analysis, Business or other related disciplines, CFA or FRM certification is preferredMinimum 5 – 8 years relevant experience in counterparty credit risk management in leading financial institutions, preferably with independent approving authorityPossess good knowledge of financial products (i.e. Equities, Futures & Options, FICC, OTC derivatives, Commodities, etc)Sound understanding of credit risk managementTeam oriented & self-motivatedStrong verbal and written communication skills & language skills, excellent command of English and Chinese
