Your challenges

Responsibilities:

Ensure seamless, efficient and robust execution of end-to-end forward sourcing processes from early development until end-of-life and engineering change note management (ECN) for series sourcing aligned with global procurement standards

Tasks:

End-to-end forward sourcing from pre-study to end of life including cost control, cost improvement, ramp up management, supply risk management etc. in alignment with the material category strategy, regarding quality, cost and with R&D and with logistics Planning and implementation of SCM concepts for an efficient realization of optimized material flow from supplier to production from early development phase until end of life Coordinate, execute and evaluate tenders Supplier negotiations in regards to price, quantity and quality

Requirements:

Degree in business / business engineering / mechanical engineering / chemistry / physics or similar Profound experience in international procurement / supply chain management or development Profound knowledge in procurement and logistics Profound experience in forward sourcing in the context of a high tech manufacturing corporation Work experience in project management, ideally in agile development Analytical skills paired with a structured working method Strong communication skills and proficient appearance Strong technical understanding, ideally in electronics, polymers or mechanical processing Willingness to travel paired with intercultural competencies Ability to clearly communicate complex matters to internal and external top management Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP Business fluent in English
