Scientific Application Specialist

Responsibilities:

Provide customized solutions in data analysis directly to our customers and assist in any pre/post sales problems. Troubleshoot post-sales issues including experimental design, data generation, data processing, bioinformatics. Identify root cause and feedback to corresponding company department and solve customer’s problems. Actively collaborate with internal departments in supporting and resolving complex customer and/or product issues.Support sales efforts including pre-sales technical presentations and discussion on experimental design to improve our win rate in complex sales situation.Perform the on-site experiment demo when needed to support our customer in initiating the novel experiments for large projects.Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to improve customer satisfaction.Continuously update scientific & technological knowledge, focusing on identifying and understanding current and novel applications which would help accelerate revenue growth in AMEA region.Proactively share experience, scientific knowledge and skills via trainings, discussions, Q&As with our employees and distributors to help to build an organization with strong knowledge in the life sciences.

Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree/Master’s in life sciences or biotechnology disciplines.Min 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role or 2 years’ experience in research sectorExperience in cell/tissue culture and molecular biologyFamiliar with NGSExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong analytical and technical troubleshooting skillsPays great attention to detail and accuracy in work and takes pride in delivering a high quality output.
