Responsible for managing the assigned Re-engineeringsolution projects for Schenker’s existing and potential Customers / Operationsin South region

■ Engagewith internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements,communicate data requirements and methodology. Responsible for documentationand reporting of project status, key milestone reports / analysis andrecommendations

■Responsible for project deliverable and presentation of results andrecommendations to stakeholders

■Analyze and document processes, workflows, position responsibilities and systemflows in conjunction with physical supply chain, identify tacticalrecommendations

■Identify innovative opportunities that generate efficiencies, design newprocesses and direct pilot tests. Assess impact of designed processes, impactto warehouse design, technologies needed, impact to customer etc.

■Identify IE Methods and Statistical Techniques (, work measurement) thatcan be used in the operations review and re-engineering of processes. Developdetailed approaches for undergoing above Methods and Techniques. Createtemplates for data collections, specify analysis details and define thedeliverables for each of them.

■ Reviewthe current lay-out and perform warehouse re-design as needed taking intoconsideration of net impact. Review appropriate storage type

■ Usevariety of tools like AutoCAD, CLASS to understand, predict and / or improvelogistics operations, warehouse lay-out and processes

■Conduct Time studies and work measurement analysis to determine the currentproductivity and cycle times.


■ Over 2- 3 years of similar experience in Logistics Solutions, Industrial Engineeringand / or in Logistics Operations management in warehouse.

■ Musthave experience in or exposure to logistics operations in order to developoperationally feasible solutions.

■ Mustbe advanced user of tools such as Microsoft Excel and / or Access to performcomplex data analysis

■ Musthave exposure to some of the following topics: storage mediums, materialhandling equipment, space analysis, manpower analysis, inventory / SKUanalysis, operational key performance indicators, continuous improvementinitiatives, transportation methods, packing, secondary operations, costing

■Experience in at least one of the tools like AutoCAD or CLASS or CAST isdesirable.

■ Shouldhave experience with process flow diagrams, methods / work study and / or otherperformance analysis methodologies

■ Shouldbe proficient in PowerPoint and have experience with customer presentations /public speaking

■Written and spoken English

■Commercially astute and customer focused

■ Teamplayer
