Your Tasks

As a member of the Facultative team, you will be responsible for underwriting, marketing, analysis and technical process including:

Supporting the development of a profitable Fac portfolio in Shanghai Negotiating reinsurance terms and conditions in line with our strategies and risk appetite Building and maintaining good relationships with clients, brokers and internal  Providing technical services to internal & external clients Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Your Profile

Successfully completed University study with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Risk Management or Safety Engineering or comparable academic background Around 5 years’ relevant working experiences in underwriting, risk management or claims handling Solution-based work approach and a collaborative and team-minded work attitude Native Mandarin Speaker. Good verbal and written communication skills in English language Strong analytical and organizational skills  Strong negotiation and relationship management skills Strong computer skills and ideally familiar with use of quotation tools Willingness to travel
