We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate IT Security Manager.

Business: Regional CIO - ASP

Principal responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive security penetration tests on information systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks. Provide detailed reports and recommendations to the development team on addressing identified security issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to strengthen the overall security posture of the organization. Offer expert guidance and consulting services on information security best practices, risk assessments, and security architecture design. Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance. Serve as a subject matter expert on information security matters, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders and clients. Pay attention to the latest security developments, new security technologies and development trends in the industry. Requirements In-depth knowledge of common security vulnerabilities, exploitation techniques, and mitigation strategies. Demonstrated experience in guiding development teams to address identified security vulnerabilities. Strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and industry standards. good communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a strong passion for continuous learning and professional development. Ability to stay current with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Requires engagement with various stakeholders across the business/ service line and the ability to translate technical Cybersecurity concepts into consumable language for the business stakeholders. Continuous contribute to the bank's technology from the inside out, whilst maintaining, protecting and enhancing HSBC's values, reputation and stakeholder value.
